Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing offers a number of different ways for you to participate in the auction process.
IN PERSON BIDDING
You can attend the auction, register for a number and bid from the floor. Pre-registration is also available by calling (315) 447-1656 or online using our contact form.
If you would like to setup a telephone bid for our next sale, please call (315) 447-1656. Once a telephone bid is submitted, you will be contacted prior to the auction by a representative from Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing to confirm your telephone numbers. The representative will offer an approximate sale time for your item(s). If a representative hasn’t contacted you prior to the day of the auction, please contact us at (315) 447-1656.
You must place absentee bids no less than 24 hours before the start of the auction. Absentee bids may be left one of three ways.
- Attend the preview, fill out and leave an Absentee Bid form.
- Call Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing at (315) 447-1656, and speak with one of our representatives.
- Download, fill out and email an Absentee Bid Form. Our convenient Absentee Bid form is available below.
Once an absentee bid is submitted, you will be contacted by a representative to confirm your bid(s). If a representative has not contacted you prior to the day of the auction, please contact us at (315) 447-1656.
Online bidding is offered at selected events thru www.Invaluable.com and/or www.Auctionzip.com (See specific event for details.) There will also be a CLICK HERE LINK provided for On-Line Bidding under each event.
All auction sales are subject to a "buyer’s premium" of 15%, unless otherwise noted. (For On-line bidding additional live fees apply and are noted with each bidding platform). This premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot. We accept cash and checks (pre-approval needed for out of state checks). For convenience we also accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) additional administrative fee may be applied. All items purchased on-site must be paid for in full at the time of the auction, unless prior arrangements have been made. On-line purchases must be paid within 5 business days. Also arrangements for 'pick up' or 'shipping' must be made at time of purchase or within 2 business days after on-site locations. All purchases are subject to the NY State sales tax applicable to the locality where the auction is being held, unless a valid New York State Resale Certificate is filed with Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing makes every effort to correctly describe and accurately identify all items that they sell. Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing are not responsible for errors, omissions or oral condition reports. It is up to the buyer to decide the nature and authenticity of each and every item interested in prior to bidding. Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing reserve the right to make verbal corrections and/or provide additional information from the block during the sale. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to request a condition report and or additional pictures and be well informed regarding the merchandise prior to placing a bid.
The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have absolute discretion in determining the successful bidder, or he/she may re-offer the disputed item for sale if he/she so wishes.
Absentee bids will be executed in a competitive manner by a company representative.
Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing is pleased to accommodate your requests for additional information and photographs, however, your personal examination is always preferred when possible. It is the responsibility of the bidder to examine lots and decide on their level of interest. We have most items available for private preview, by appointment or during our posted preview hours prior to the auction. Lots are sold in "as is" condition. All sales are final. Terri Peters & Associates Auction and Estate Marketing is not responsible for theft or damage. You are responsible for your purchases after the auctioneer hammer goes down and identifies your number as the winning bid.
All sales are final. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ascertain, to their satisfaction, the authenticity, condition, shipping, transportation or any other factors that may influence bidding BEFORE bidding! By placing any bid(s), (on site, on line, absentee or by phone), you are agreeing to the terms of this auction. Your bid is considered to be a legal binding agreement. All payment for winning bids MUST be made within 5 business days after the conclusion of the auction unless other arrangements have been agreed to in writing by the bidder and Terri Peters & Associates. Any item(s) remaining unpaid after 5 days will be placed in storage with a storage fee of $20.00 per day being levied upon the buyer. Those items that remain in storage more than 14 days will be considered forfeit. The cost of the item and all storage fees are the responsibility of the buyer of record. After an additional 5 days from forfeiture any remaining unpaid balance will be turned over to a collections agency. It is not our intention to charge any additional fees or to send our customers to collections, it is only our intention to process winning bids as expeditiously as possible and get winning items to our customers quickly.
